Thangka Project

A photograph of a modern version of a traditional thangka painted in Karma Gadri style, depicting the Ninth Karmapa, Wangchuk Dorje. This is one of a series of thangkas depicting the lineage holders of the Karma Kamtsang tradition. Nitartha international , in conjunction with Nalandabodhi, has commissioned thangka painters trained in the traditional art of the Karma Gadri school to reproduce this thangka series.
