Nitartha international has a number of initiatives underway to support our goals of making the living traditions of wisdom embodied in the texts and art of Asia available to the world community. These include:

A Compendium of Buddhist Terminology
Nitartha is working with leading scholars to prepare a groundbreaking compendium of the terminology of the eight major schools of Tibetan Buddhism.

Tibetan Calendar
Nitartha annually publishes a Tibetan calendar calculated according to the Tsurluk system of Tibetan astrology.

Thangka Project
Nitartha has commissioned current artists skilled in traditional methods of painting to restore important works of Tibetan art from endangered collections of thangkas.

Creative Collaboration
Nitartha also supports creative pursuits using traditional themes in current artistic settings. An example of one of our efforts is the Mask Exhibit, displayed here for your viewing enjoyment.
