Ngompa is the Hunter, portrayed in Tibetan opera ("Lhamo") in a primary role or as a member of a group of hunters, who dance to introduce or close the
performance. Ngompa traditionally holds the special arrow which attracts the essence of wealth.
This mask is closely based on the masks worn in Tibetan opera.
