unfinished thangka

This tangkha was painted by Thupten Jigdral Tsewang Dorje, the Sixth Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche (d. 1962). Although never formally trained, he was a skilled painter, as illustrated by the painting above. This tangkha is unfinished, containing only three of the four traditional protector animal figures.
